Alongside the premier of Darkness Over Pendle, we also performed a selection of other one act performances at the Commemoration Hall in December of 2004 to see out the end of the year.
Shame Academy
This piece , directed by Margaret Gledhill and Christine Waldock, featured a mix of established HYT members and some (then) newcomers. They worked amongst themselves to create their characters and the songs they would perform in this parody piece based on the short lived BBC reality show “Fame Academy”. The audience then got to vote for their favourite performer and were invited to join in their musical finale.
