At the end of Spring 2013 we put together one of our showcase evenings which saw us taking on a couple of well known stories and adapting them in to smaller pieces as well as a piece of theatre based around the boxing day tsunami that hit the Indian Ocean in 2004.
The Crown Diamond
An adaptation of a Sherlock Holmes mystery by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle directed by Beryl-Anne Whitehead and Kate Adams. Watson arrives at 221b Baker Street to find Holmes in bed at seven in the evening while Billy the page explains that Holmes has been hot on the trail of a missing jewel, a Crown Diamond no less, worth about £100,000.

It’s Coming
Directed by Nicole Jackson, this is a modern piece self scripted from a series of improvisations with the cast based around the 2004 tsunami. Many of the ideas and much of the script came directly from the cast as they told a story of a family having a holiday that they would never forget…
